In recent years, this wonderful plant has been getting quite a bit of well-deserved attention. Rosella tea is tart and refreshing, and is very wel complemented by a dash of sugar and lemon to make a wonderful iced beverage for those hot days. The juice or fresh flowers can also be used to make jams and jellies.
The Rosella flower packs a health punch as well! It is rich in antioxidants and vitamin C, high in Calcium (486mg / 100 gr), Magnesium and Omega 3, and has high amounts of Vitamin A, Iron, Potassium, and Beta Carotene.
This Rosella is grown by Roni, of Made Teas.
